New Movie Rangasthalam (2020) (transl. 'Theatre') is the 2018 Indian Telugu-language action drama film[3] written and directed by Sukumar. It's generated by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar, C. V. Mohan for Mythri Film Makers, film stars Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni in leading roles, Jagapati Babu, Naresh, Prakash Raj, Aadhi Pinisetty and Anasuya Bharadwaj in main supporting roles.

In the 1980s, Rangasthalam was set up in an eponymous fictitious town. It tells the tale of the two brothers Chittibabu (Charan) and Kumar Babu (Pinisetty) who denounce the local government body and the oppressive Co-operative Society headed by the president of the town, Phanindra Bhupathi (Babu).

Sukumar started working on the film script after finishing Nannaku Prematho (2016) and collaborated with R. Rathnavelu, who was the head of photography. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and the score of the film; Naveen Nooli edited the video.

One of the first Indian films to be filmed exclusively using Red Helium 8 K cameras, Rangasthalam 's main photography started in April 2017 with the working title RC11 and lasted until March 2018. Mostly filmed in a village set worth 50 million constructed in Hyderabad, ten percent of the film footage was shot in and around Rajahmundry.The film was made on a budget of 600 million and was released worldwide on 30 March 2018.
