Coronavirus | Army is deploying in the country | Tomorrow (March 28) the army is moving to preserve social space. The army will be mobilized to support the civil administration in social isolation and alertness in the divisional and district towns.
Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam took such a statement at an immediate press conference at the secretariat on Monday. He said that all government offices were designated general holidays before April 3 due to coronavirus infection.
Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam told the press conference that, together with the district magistrates, they (army members) will study the medical network of patients with district and departmental coronavirus, a quarantine of suspicious persons. The army must investigate whether any international expatriate is faulty or ignored during mandatory quarantine.
Earlier, the Secretary of the Cabinet said that due to coronavirus, public holidays will take place from March 25 to April 7. General holidays will take place from March 25 to April 2. Before and after March 26, Freedom Day. Daily holidays will also be included on 25 and 25 March. In fact, the weekly holidays will take effect on 7 and 8 April.
The press conference was attended by Ahmed Kayakus, Chief Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, and the Secretaries of the various ministries. At a press briefing, the Cabinet Secretary and Chief Secretary said they had a different meeting with Prime Minister Sheik Hasina and Chief of the Army Aziz Ahmed earlier. Measures are being provided under the Prime Minister's Directive.
Such actions involve limiting the flow of public transit and barring all private, political and religious events.
The Secretary of the Cabinet said that if a low-income individual is unable to stay in the city due to coronavirus, the government would provide him with the required help in his village or home under his home scheme. District officials should take steps in this way.
Previously, all schools and colleges were declared closed until 7 March due to coronavirus. Higher and similar exams were postponed. The Higher Secondary Exam is scheduled to begin on April 7th.
