The film opens to a school in a village where a child recites a national anthem to both the school personnel and pupils. Another kid is seen rushing to school because he's late. His instructor punishes him, when contrasting him to the boy he recited earlier, who is discovered to be his younger half-brother. The enmity is rising in the older sibling, as it is often contrasted to his younger one.
The younger brother burns the picture of the older brother's father as the explanation for his loss in the Kabbadi school match. In retaliation, the older brother pushes the younger sibling into a well. Seeing him sink in the well, the older brother runs away from the village.
Then the film opens to Mumbai, only a few years after the accident. The older brother grows up to become Ramana (Nandha), who is an underground narcotics dealing business with the assistance of local police and political patronage. He's attempting to destroy Govardhan, who's a threat to him, but he's not. Arjun (Jiiva) has been waiting to see him for several days, but he can't.
Finally, with the aid of Ramana's chef, Delhi (Santhanam), he manages to see him and inform him about his life story. Arjun is a wrestler, and he mistakenly encounters Anjana (Taapsee Pannu) when heading to a boxing selection match. He couldn't follow the match as he was spoiling the miniature Anjana was bringing for her interview on the same day.
